"The food was soul warming and the sound of the market chaos in the background gave it an even better feel. The gentleman playing and singing live music was incredible and the staff were lovely, attentive and up for a chat. I cannot recommend this little gem enough!"

"Ordered a fish plate for 1 person, a meat plate for 1 person, artichoke and drinks. As you can see, the fish plate for a person is quite big. Everything was delicious, the serving size was more than sufficient. Would recommend to everyone who stays here and visits the central market."

"During our stay in Catania, we planned a street food–style lunch and expected that it would involve a certain gastronomic compromise. However, our visit to Bar Termini turned out to be a true feast, worthy of the very best restaurant. We started with an aperitivo and delicious bruschetta, and then each of us enjoyed a main course accompanied by wine and freshly squeezed fruit juice. To finish, we had cannoli filled with ricotta right in front of our eyes, followed by excellent coffee. Ps. What makes it truly impressive is that this entire experience cost only 20 euros per person."

"A nice open bar becoming part of the market when the market is on. Tasty seafood bites from grill or deep fried or fresh you can choose from, as those are displayed on plates on counters. Nice staff, does not seem to speak English but since you can choose food directly by plates it is accessible for non-Italians as well. We never got menu, so we never know what costs what, and this was a little unsettling. I guess we could just ask ;-). For two plates of fried seafood, one plate of grilled vegetables (quite a big one), Aperol Spritz and Messina beer we paid 27 EUR, so one can say pretty average for the location. And the food was simply good. The atmosphere of the market adds to it nicely, so generally an experience worth of recommendation it was."

"I had an excellent experience at this restaurant in the market area of Catania! I ordered the seafood platters and they were absolutely delicious – fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The grilled artichoke was a wonderful surprise, tender and aromatic, and the grilled vegetables complemented the meal perfectly, cooked just right. The atmosphere is authentic, with a true Sicilian vibe, and the staff was friendly and attentive. A perfect stop for anyone who wants to enjoy fresh, traditional food in a pleasant setting. "Loved the arancini and grilled artichokes, the aroma and flavors are incredible. Absolutely delicious! Great to take a break from walking the busy market and have a flavorful bite to eat. Saw the staff setting up in the market and could not believe how everything was completely and thoroughly scrubbed down. Clean, tasty and friendly, plus great to people watch with an amazing view of the beautiful church."
